SUPPORT SOCIAL OUTREACH

As Catholics, we believe in the inherent sacredness of human life, created by our gracious God in His own image. Whether young, old, hungry or homeless, our neighbor reveals the face of God.

Our respect for the dignity and worth of every person compels us to look beyond our parish walls to seek a more just future for all people. Through the outreach ministries of the Diocese of Orlando, we serve as the heart, voice and hands of Jesus, who calls each of us to feed the poor, clothe the naked, and heal the sick.

There are many ways to provide both immediate and long-term support for diocesan outreach ministries that serve our community, including: 

Catholic Charities of Central Florida provides food, clothing, shelter and counseling to more than 100,000 people every year, regardless of age, ethnic background, or religion.

Hope CommUnity Center empowers Central Florida's immigrant and working poor communities through education, advocacy and spiritual growth.

The Diocesan Mission Office assists with the educational, medical, and spiritual needs of the people of the Diocese of San Juan de la Maguana, located in one of the most impoverished regions of the Dominican Republic.
