Central Florida CAP® Study Group Nonprofit Executive Scholarship Grant

Doing More Together For Our Community Through Philanthropy

Scholarship opportunities are available for nonprofit professionals interested in participating in the 2026 Central Florida CAP® Study Group, launching in September 2026 to earn the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) designation.

Through the generosity of scholarship sponsors, a total of seven scholarships are available:

  • Two 50% scholarships funded by The Catholic Foundation of Central Florida Endowment, available to nonprofit professionals serving a ministry of the Diocese of Orlando.
  • Five $2,000 scholarships funded by the Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation, available to nonprofit professionals employed by a qualified 501c3 nonprofit organization in Central Florida.

Applicants will be considered for all scholarships for which they are eligible; however, only one scholarship award will be granted per individual.

Scholarship awards will be paid directly to The American College of Financial Services.

The Central Florida CAP® Study Group is intentionally small, allowing for a diverse mix of professionals and meaningful dialogue with national and regional speakers. CAP® is a prestigious designation that provides ethical and technical training for advisors and nonprofit executives to better serve philanthropists through a multidisciplinary and cross-sector approach. The curriculum spans and synthesizes the arts and sciences of philanthropic planning, including taxation, ethical fundraising, purposeful planning, family dynamics, psychology, and strategic philanthropy.

If you are interested in applying for a scholarship, please complete the form below between  June 25, 2026 – July 25, 2026. Applicants will be notified of scholarship decisions by July 31, 2026.
