On the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord, March 25, Pope Francis will consecrate Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary during the Celebration of Penance over which he will preside in St. Peter’s Basilica. The same act, on the same day, will occur in Fatima by Cardinal Konrad Krajewski, papal almoner, who is being sent there by Pope Francis for this purpose.
As Bishop through papal appointment, Bishop John Noonan of the Diocese of Orlando is called to offer prayer and penitence as the Holy Father consecrates Russia and the Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
